Who is eligible for fully funded energy grants?

Only one household member (adult or child) needs to meet the qualifying criteria to apply

If your home is poorly equipped to shield you from the cold British weather, with an EPC Rating of "E" or lower, then you have 3 ways to qualify. You can use our EPC checker here if you're unsure if your home has an energy rating.

You or someone in your home should have at least one of the following:

​ A qualifying medical condition:

A cardiovascular condition (e.g. stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure)
 

A respiratory disease (e.g. Asthma, COPD, Emphysema)

 

Limited mobility – a condition which impacts movement (e.g. arthritis)
 

Immunosuppression - a condition which impacts the immune system (e.g. steroids or chemotherapy)
 

 OR  Receive a qualifying benefit, such as:

Child Tax Credit
 

Universal Credit

Income-Based Job Seekers Allowance

 

Income Related Employment & Support Allowance

Income Support

Pension Guarantee Credit

 

Working Tax Credit

Housing Benefit

Pension Savings Credit

 

OR

 

  Any home with a combined annual household income under £31,000

 


 

Who Is Not Eligible For The Grant?

Currently, properties connected to mains gas heating or with an EPC rating of A, B, C or D will not qualify for the free government heating grant eligibility through this scheme. For the most up-to-date exclusions, our team is happy to advise.

 

 

 

 

How the process works

2. Grant Consultation

Have a call with your 1:1 dedicated Grant Consultant to ensure the measures are right for your home. They'll be with you every step of the way to maximise the probability of an approved application.

 

 

3. Survey

We arrange a free home visit survey at a time that suits you.



 

 

4. Installation:

If approved, a qualified installer will fit your new heating or insulation system with no charge.

 

 

6. Enjoy your savings

Stay warm, comfortable, and energy efficient while reducing your monthly bills.

Please be aware that your Grant Consultant will not progress your application to survey unless until they fully understand your home and specific circumstances, and feel that the current retrofit measures would provide a significant improvement. Our service is free, and consequently in high demand. We reserve survey appointments for homes in most need, and where an installation will have the biggest impact on comfort and wellbeing.
